The NWS has issued a
Flood Watch for all of Southeast Louisiana until Tuesday Afternoon. A cold front has moved through Baton Rouge and will stall along the coast tonight. Disturbances will ride along the front and send some heavy rain over us today and tonight. Also, an area of low pressure will form over Texas and move across Louisiana during the day on Tuesday. All of this will lead us to receiving around 2 to 4 inches of rain. This will cause area streams, creeks, bayous, ditches and local rivers to rise. Some flash flooding will be possible in those areas that typically flood with a lot of rain.

Watch out for some rising water during the next 24+ hours! Remember DO NOT drive through flooded roadways...you might not know just how deep it is!
