Short Term Forecast: We begin this Monday with partly cloudy skies and patchy fog across Southeast Louisiana. Some of the fog could be dense with low visibilities. Temperatures are in the mid 50s.
Once the fog dissipates we will be left with partly cloudy skies and a warm afternoon. High pressure is located to the east of Louisiana and that is pumping in the warmer/more humid air from the Gulf of Mexico. High temperatures will be around 80.
Expect a mild night with mostly cloudy skies and patchy fog. Low temperatures will fall to near 60.
Week Ahead: A cold front will move into and through Baton Rouge on Tuesday. This will set off scattered showers and a few thunderstorms. It will be a warm day before the rain starts with highs in the upper 70s. Tuesday Night will be mostly cloudy with lingering showers. Lows will be near 60.
The cold front will be to the south of Louisiana on Wednesday and it will stall along the coast. We will gradually see the rain/clouds dissipating during the afternoon. Highs will be a little cooler as the climb to the lower 70s. Wednesday Night will be mostly clear and cool with lows in the lower 50s.
The stationary
front will retreat back to the north on Thursday as a warm front.

will be partly cloudy and cool with lows in the mid 50s.It will be warm and more humid on Friday with partly cloudy skies. A few showers will be possible across the city. Highs will be in the mid 70s and lows in the upper 50s.
Weekend Outlook: The warm and more humid air will stay over us all weekend. Saturday and Sunday will be partly cloudy with a few showers possible each day. Highs will be in the upper 70s and lows in the upper 50s.
