We will have another warm day with some record highs possible! High pressure located southeast of us over the Eastern Gulf will keep us partly cloudy, warm and humid today. Highs will be in the mid 80s . The record high for today is 83° set back in 2012, and we could easily tie or break that. Tonight will be mostly quiet with mostly cloudy skies as a weakening broken line of storms moves toward Louisiana. Some of these storms could be strong toward the Baton Rouge area around daybreak. Lows will be around 70. The squall line of storms will move through during the morning and into the afternoon on Thursday. Right now, the line will be in the Hammond Area between 9-10 AM, Covington Area between 10-11 AM, New Orleans between 11 AM-12 PM, and it clears the coast around 3 PM.
