Spring officially arrived at 5:28 AM today, but it has felt like Spring here for the last few weeks!
We will feel like Spring today as high pressure sits in the Central Gulf of Mexico. This will keep SW winds over us today with partly cloudy skies. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s. Tonight will be partly to mostly cloudy with patchy fog. Lows will be in the 60s.
Tuesday through Thursday will continue to be warm and delightful even as a dry cold front moves through Wednesday Night. It will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy each day as the area of high pressure remains in the Gulf. We will have daily highs in the lower 80s. Lows will be in the upper 50s north to lower 60s south of the lake.
Friday will be a transition day from the nice weather to some stormy weather as a strong cold front heads our way. We will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance for a shower. Highs will be around 80. Friday Night will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Lows will be in the 60s.
The cold front will move through on Saturday. It will set off scattered showers and storms as it taps into Gulf Moisture. Some of these storms could be strong to possibly severe. I will have a better idea on the strength of the storms by Friday. Highs will be in the mid 70s.
We clear out the rain on Sunday with mostly sunny skies. We will not cool-down behind the front as highs will be in the upper 70s.
