High pressure remains over us today and that means we will have plenty of sunshine. It will still be cool with highs in the upper 60s. The pollen count remains high today, so if you suffer from allergies, you will want to take your allergy meds again! Tonight will be clear and cool to chilly with lows around 40 north and in the lower 50s south of the lake.
The weekend will start out nice as the area of high pressure moves east of Louisiana. We will be partly cloudy and still coolish with highs in the upper 60s. It will not be as cold on Saturday Night as the winds shift from the NE to the SE. Lows will be in the 50s on both sides of the lake.
An upper-level low will form along the Texas Coast on Sunday and it will slowly move east. This will bring us mostly cloudy skies with a few showers. It will be warmer and more humid with highs in the mid 70s.
The weather will be pretty unsettled and very mild for the first part of next week. The upper-level low will send us scattered showers and storms on Monday. Then a cold front will move into the area on Tuesday with more scattered showers and storms. The front will move through on Wednesday, so we will continue to deal with scattered showers and storms. Right now, it looks like we will see an end to the rain by Thursday with some slightly cooler temperatures.
