Short Term Forecast : We have one more pretty chilly morning here in Baton Rouge. It is mostly clear with temperatures in the 40s. Better take that coat again this morning, but you will not need it later. The area of high pressure is well off to the east of Louisiana, and that means we will have plenty of southerly winds today. This will pump in the warm air and moisture from the Gulf of Mexico. We will become partly cloudy with highs in the mid 70s this afternoon. The clouds will stick around tonight and we could have some patchy fog forming. Temperatures will be mild as they only fall to the mid 50s. Easter Weekend : It still looks like we will have some rain and thunderstorms for this weekend. Saturday will be nice for much of the day with partly to mostly cloudy skies.
