The area of high pressure that was over us this past weekend will move east of Louisiana today. This will bring back southeasterly winds and some humidity. We will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 70s. Tonight will have a few clouds and lows in the upper 50s north and mid 60s south of the lake.
A trough of low pressure and cold front will move through part of the Southeast U.S. on Tuesday. We will be far enough south not to see a big impact from this. However, we could see a few showers and thunderstorms - mainly along the LA/MS state line. Otherwise, it will be partly cloudy and warm with highs in the lower 80s. There could be a few showers on Tuesday Night as the cold front stalls and dissipates just north of us. Lows will be in the 60s.
An area of high pressure will build back over the area Wednesday through Friday. Each day will be partly cloudy and warm with highs in the 80s. Lows will be in the 60s.
Looking ahead to Easter Weekend: We will stay warm and it will become more humid. There will be a slight chance for an afternoon shower/storm, but the chance is very low. Highs will be in the 80s. Lows will be in the 60s. Overall, it will be a very nice and warm Easter!
