After a frigid weekend, we will start to see a BIG warm-up starting today and it will continue all week. The cold area of high pressure that was over us has moved to the east of Louisiana. This will bring back the SE winds and they will start to warm us back up today. We will see some clouds today, making it partly cloudy with highs around 60. Tonight will not be as cold with partly cloudy skies. We will actually see low temperatures rising from the lower 50s to the mid 50s overnight, so no freeze!! Actually, we will not see a freeze again for awhile!

Tuesday through Friday will be partly to mostly cloudy each day with MUCH WARMER temperatures and a slight chance for a shower. Daily highs will be in the lower to upper 70s thanks to the southerly flow. Lows will be in the 50s to 60s.
One big issue we will start dealing with will be fog and sea fog. We will start to see this on Tuesday Night/Wednesday Morning, and it will be possible every night through the weekend. Visibilities will be less than 1/4 at times, and this could cause some travel issues on the Causeway later this week. Also, the fog could stick around for much of the day over water.
Early outlook to the weekend calls for more very mild temperatures in the 70s with partly cloudy skies and a slight chance for a shower each day.
