Invest 93L has become Tropical Depression # 2 in the NW Caribbean. Visible satellite images show the cluster of showers and storms has developed a surface circulation with 35 mph winds.
It is forecast to make landfall tonight in the Yucatan Peninsula near Belize and then move into the Bay of Campeche later tomorrow. It could possibly become stronger and become a tropical storm by Thursday before it makes a 2nd landfall in Mexico with 40 mph winds.
We DO NOT have to worry about this storm in Louisiana. Stay tuned to WBRZ and my weather blog for updates on this system.
