A Freeze Warning is in effect for the Baton Rouge area tonight! The winds will calm down as an area of high pressure sits over the Deep South. This will draw in some very cold arctic air right into Baton Rouge. We will have unseasonably cold air in the upper 20s to lower 30s tonight. Some vegetation has been planted already and this freeze could kill it. Therefore, the NWS has issued a Freeze Warning from Midnight to 8 AM Tuesday:
