The cold front has pushed through town this morning, and the severe weather threat has ended. Some lingering showers will continue until midday for parts of Southeast Louisiana. The sky will start to clear and it will become partly cloudy this afternoon. Temperatures have fallen into the 50s and they will hold steady through the afternoon hours. Then they will fall into the 40s during the evening. Be sure to take that jacket with you today.
Expect mostly clear skies tonight with much colder temperatures. Lows will fall to the mid 30s. Brrr! Be sure to bundle up on Thursday Morning!
Gorgeous weather returns on Thursday and Friday as an area of high pressure builds over the Southeast U.S. We will be sunny and cool with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s each day. It will be cold at night with lows in the 30s.
Have a good day! -Dave
