It was a beautiful weekend, but things will be going downhill today. A cold front is stalled NW of our area and breezy SE winds are ushering in more moisture over us today. This will lead to scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. Some of the storms could be strong to severe along and north of I-12. The Storm Prediction Center has that area and into Southern Mississippi in a Marginal Risk for severe weather. The threats would be large hail and damaging winds. South of the lake we are not expected to see as strong of storms, but they could still produce heavy rain and gusty winds. Plan for rain if you are headed to any parades today! Highs will be back in the upper 70s. This evening will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms with temperatures in the 70s around 6 PM. Again, plan for rain for the parades. Overnight, will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance for rain and some patchy fog....
