Starting this week we will be able to see the Comet PANSTARRS. To see the comet, look to the west right after sunset and it will be just above the horizon. You will need an unobstructed view of it to see it well since it appears after sunset.

History: It was discovered back in June of 2011 and bears the name of the telescope that discovered it: Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response System according to NASA. This sits atop of the Haleakala Volcano in Hawaii.
