Sunny, cool and gorgeous weather today

Pleasant Weather Today :  You can expect a gorgeous day today with plenty of sunshine as an area of high pressure sits over Louisiana.  We will still be a little cool with highs in the lower 60s.  It would be a nice day to go out for lunch! Another Cold Night :  Get ready for another chilly night across Southeast Louisiana.  We will be clear with lows in the mid 30s north of the lake with some patchy frost, and in the mid 40s south of the lake.  Be sure to cover or bring in any plants tonight north of the lake! Clouds will be on the increase tonight, and we could see a few spotty showers toward daybreak.  Patchy fog is also possible.  It will be a cool night with lows in the mid to upper 50s north and south of the lake.   A Wet Tuesday :  The big change in our weather starts tomorrow.  An area of low pressure will form in the Western Gulf and track toward Louisiana.  This will send scattered to numerous showers and some thunderstorms over us starting mid morning.  Some heavy rain is likely for areas along and south of I-10.  1 to 2 inches of rain will be possible according to the latest forecast models.  See the image below.  I'm not expecting any severe weather at this time, but there cou...
